ShirakiPhoto Update: As posted in my last entry, I have just recently moved out of Vegas and to the Bay Area. I’m settling in at my new job quite well but had the itch to produce a new car photo for myself and for my viewers. I dug through my archives and found a half finished photo of a SLS AMG so decided to finally complete it.
I’m slowly getting through this set but here’s the second shot I just finished today. I just dragged and dropped my 11 layers of color/curve adjustments on to this picture, cropped it, cleaned it up a bit, and it now meshes well with the previous shot. Enjoy!
After many requests, I’m finally giving in and for the first time I’m offering ultra high res wallpaper for all of you to enjoy. *Download here*

Who: Corinne Doherty
Where: Dry Lake Bed in Boulder City, NV
Background: A huge issue I have with cars + girls is that the women in the photos rarely ever look classy and in most cases it comes off as an almost trashy import model type of feel. One of the few people I’ve seen execute a car + girl shoot well is my good friend Seagram Pearce and the Audi RS5 he shot for GQ. I studied what worked well and adapted it for my own shoot. This is the approach I take when shooting new material: find a photographer that executed the subject matter well, use them as an inspiration, and adapt my own style and creative flair for the shoot.
